We couldn’t be more grateful to have stumbled upon Woodvilla during our recent trip to Ireland. After a booking error at another place left us without accommodations, Austin and Julie welcomed us with such warmth and generosity, even though we arrived late and on very short notice. They had thoughtfully left fresh milk in the fridge so we could start the next morning with a peaceful coffee—a small touch that made us feel right at home.
From the very beginning, they made sure we had everything we needed, offering fantastic travel tips when visiting us after breakfast. With a storm approaching, Austin even mapped out the safest route for us to reach our next stop, showing genuine care for our safety.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we returned to Woodvilla for the final night of our two-week journey. Once again, Austin and Julie greeted us like old friends, welcoming us with engaging conversation and a freshly baked Tart, made with apples from their own garden.
The accommodation was nothing short of perfect. The beds came equipped with heated blankets, making it cozy and comfortable even on chilly nights. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the large dining table in the open-plan kitchen and living area invites you to relax, share meals, and enjoy good company. The bathrooms were immaculate, and the decoration throughout the spacious, two-story apartment highlighted Austin and Julie’s attention to detail and care in maintaining a beautiful, welcoming space.
The entire property, expertly renovated by Austin, reflects thoughtful design and love. The surrounding grounds are equally stunning—a testament to the time and effort they’ve put into creating this welcoming haven.
We’re so thankful to Austin and Julie for making our stay so memorable. Woodvilla is a true gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Ireland.
