An absolute gem of a place in picturesque countryside not far from Kilmore. The lodge is deceptively large, tastefully designed and decorated with more than adequate room for a large group. Our group of 9 included grandparents, parents, and grandchildren. The patio and the garden are child friendly with enough facilities to keep the little ones amused for a long time and keep the adults happy with outdoor living. Inside the lodge bedrooms, sitting room and the large country kitchen are beautifully laid out, decorated to very high spec and provide all the comforts of home. The views of surrounding countryside are stunning especially from the sitting room balcony.
The owners Austin, Julie and family live next door and are an example of flawless hospitality. They are friendly, approachable and couldn’t be more helpful. They are outstanding hosts and a true example of Irish hospitality.
We had a wonderful time in Woodvilla lodge and hope to return soon to savour the relaxed, friendly and real luxurious atmosphere.
